We recently had an experience where we had to pop to maindealer to pick up some parts. So we headed over gave them the order and wait for a while ( they have had new systems so it took them a bit longer.) I was offered a Hot chocolate due to it being slightly longer - great customer service from the parts department. BUT this was Until I heard a young service advisor tell a customer who had been in for a service they had spent an additional 2 hours looking for water ingress which they could not locate. Was advised to leave the boot and doors open when it is sunny to dry the car out 🙈😩🥺😵‍💫. Charged for the time to look about why the inside of his car is wet, to not locate the ingress and then advised leave your doors and boot open when it’s sunny…

This weather has been causing havoc everywhere but mostly on these SLK. Is your SLK raining inside as well as outside? Most commonly caused by failing roof panel seals, We remove the fragile roof panels very carefully, clean out and dry inside and re-seal them back to how they should be.
