Mark's 1986, Suzuki SJ45 interior is coming along nicely.

We couldn't source the original material but I think this patterned contract vinyl is an excellent, sympathetic, choice.

Here are the new doorcards which I completed this week. I'll be starting the rear seats next week.

Another stunning restoration by LPME Land-Rover Specialists is nearing completion. This 1956 Series 1 was rescued from a field that it had spent far too long in. This is a real nuts and bolts rebuild but they are on the home stretch now.

Paul had reluctantly come to the conclusion he needed to replace or retrim the interior of his 48 year old Limited Edition Mini. When we first spoke it was obvious that he really wanted to keep it as original as possible, but he didn't think it could be done.

I managed to source vinyl which closely matched the original in colour and tactile feel and made all my own piping.

I carefully quilted the original (heat pressed) patterns into the doorcards and rear quarter panels, recreating as much of the original styling as I could.

I painstakingly cleaned and refoamed the material from the centres of the seats. A little tweak to the design of the seat base covers resolved the inevitable wear and tear damage on the front edge.

The car has been loved and used for 48 years and now Paul can continue to enjoy it in style and comfort.

Tanks Trucks and Firepower Show 2025

I've come to the reluctant conclusion that I won't be able to fit in the Tanks, Trucks and Firepower Show this year.

As some of you will know the yard I had my unit on was sold in mid April and after 2 months the new landlords decided to evict everyone on a "rolling" contract, my business included.

June, usually one of my busiest months, turned into a frantic search for new premises, negotiations with potential landlords and finally a hurried move, all of which had to be completed within 4 weeks.

I'm only just starting to catch up on work that should have been completed a month ago and I simply can't spare the time to prep for a show without putting myself further behind.

I'm hoping to take a day to visit the show as a day visitor but I'm not sure which day it will be yet.

I'm definitely planning on doing the show again in 2026 as we really enjoy attending.

I hope everyone has a great show with more of this lovely sunny weather.
