Customer dropped in for a service and this is how the battery was connected.
Ensure battery terminals are secured correctly. In modern cars lots of components are driven electronically, including power steering. If a terminal came loose whilst driving you risk loosing your power steering meaning without notice the vehicle becomes very difficult to manoeuvre.
If in doubt pop in and we’ll sort it out.

It’s just brakes…..

This customer came in with a VW Transporter complaining of squeaking brakes. A road test highlighted extremely responsive brakes, the slightest tap on the pedal and the van would perform an emergency brake manoeuvre.

Upon further inspection the front discs were found to be incorrect. Coincidentally the discs removed matched that of the rear. Front and rear discs/pads are often different.
This caused the disc to rub against the pad carrier causing squealing and biast braking.

Correct discs and pads fitted to both front and rear and the vehicle is back on the road fault free.

Mistakes happen. Make sure you can trust your vehicle technician. Check, check and check again. This could have ended up much worse.
