BMW M5 COMPETITION LCI

Drivetrain Warning Light On 🎛️

Full fault read into vehicle rough running. With drivetrain and engine warning light on display. Using the bmw diagnosis tooling to diagnose this vehicle correctly. Various checks carried out with endoscope camera to ensure no bore damage. Unfortunately 2 injectors had failed (becoming common) on cylinders 5 & 6 due to coolant leak.
With previous repairs from elsewhere we wanted to be confident that these issues weren’t going to come back. Full pressure test carried out and no leaks were present.

Adaptions reset for injection quantity ✅

Road Tested✅

Final Fault read before customer collection ✅

N57 Timing Chain Replacement ⛓️‍💥

One of our most common vehicles and engines for replacement of timing chains.

With instant noise diagnosis coming from the engine, we need get that engine out asap before it snapped. Vehicle was brought to us straight away and left with us to go through it and rectify.

With 60k from new and full dealership history unfortunately it’s not been maintained as it should have been.
