But ZF LIFETEC is taking a very different approach.
Its intelligent "behind-the-glass" camera architecture, seamlessly integrated into the rear-view mirror, doesn't look behind the car—it looks inside it. The goal? Helping prevent accidents before they happen.
Using a high-resolution near-infrared camera, the system can monitor the driver regardless of cabin lighting, sunglasses, or temporary facial obstructions, providing a new level of occupant awareness.
