Telford Neighborhood Garage Sale

17/08/2026

I wanted to thank both our sellers and shoppers for making the Multi-Family Yard Sale a success this weekend. I appreciate everyone who participated and helped make it a great neighborhood event!

Congratulations to Rhonda Edens for winning the gift basket! It’s not a Powerball win, but it’s still better than nothing. 😄

“After organizing another neighborhood yard sale this past weekend, I was reminded how much you can learn about a community just by talking with neighbors.

People moving.
People downsizing.
Families growing.
Retirements.
Job changes.
New construction conversations.

Real estate trends don’t just show up in statistics — they show up in neighborhoods first.

I put together a blog post about some of the things I’ve been noticing around Northeast Tennessee lately.

Would you have bought this broken snowman for $5? 😂

My wife collects snowmen, so I brought him home from the neighborhood yard sale even though it didn’t work.

Cleaned up a little battery corrosion, added some applied engineering … and we have a new family treasure.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever found at a yard sale?

I want to thank all 28 Sellers who opened up their garages and laid out stuff in the yard. What a great group of folks! After visiting folks after the sale and having really good discussions, I think we approached $10k in sales over the two day sale. Not too shabby!
