This is the post I never wanted to have to write.
Our Best buddy Bez was Euthanised at home with us both with him on Tuesday. After a very sudden illness that started the day before, resulting in anaemia and laboured breathing.
The vet suspected cancer as being the most likely cause of the internal bleeding and fluid on his lungs. And said the kindest option was Euthanasia.
He was a fantastic dog and very clean right until the end. Although very weak, he still went outside to the toilet the night before and on the Tuesday morning.
RIP Bez you will be very greatly missed by all that knew you. 15-5-2010 30-7-2024

I know a few of you have wondered if we still have Bez, some brave souls have tentatively asked me if he’s still with us?

I’m very pleased to say that although old, arthritic and a lot less muscly than he used to be.
He’s still enjoying life and full of the joys of Soring.
I took this video, of his impromptu happy dance, just this afternoon.
Not bad considering he will be 14 on the 15th May! 🐶

Enzo on the other hand, had to have a sudden vets appointment first thing this morning. He’s been prescribed a course of antibiotics and pain meds, £101 for today’s visit and he’s got to go back on Friday.
They don’t make them like they used too! 🐕
