Shooting for the top!
Well what a fabulous weekend of racing on the mainland and Channel Islands.
Saturday saw the British Hillclimb Championship head to Les Val des Terres. With a jolly good handful of locals in Empires it was an exciting time to be on the hill. No more so for Steve Brehaut who has returned to racing back with his Empire Wraith. Despite a few boost gremlins he smashed his Personal Best Time and achieved his highest finish in a British Run Off of 4th! Good times are coming! Great drive Steve.
Come Sunday the Midland Hill Climb Championship was at Prescott Speed Hill Climb for a one day meeting. Tom Weaver keen for more seat time in the newly acquired Evo 3, found his click and flow of his old Evo 2. With an 1100cc class win was a great start to the proceedings but not nearly enough for young flying Tom. Two Run Off Wins and Fastest Time of the Day was the cherry on the cake.

While PB's fell over the weekend of racing and it is definitely worth a mention of the great effort from Michael White, who turned around an engine install and new engine auxiliary upgrades from Empire a day before the meeting to compete.
