**A VERY DIFFICULT ANNOUNCEMENT ❤️**
After **9 and a half years**, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to announce that **JW Valeting will be closing its doors at the end of October 2026.**
This is something I’ve been thinking about for the last 12 months, and believe me, it hasn’t been an easy decision.
I started JW Valeting when I was just **26 years old**, with around **£200 to my name**, working out of the back of my **2002 Ford Focus** with the bare minimum equipment — but I had a whole lot of passion, enthusiasm and a dream to build something of my own.
Fast forward 9 and a half years, and what JW Valeting has become is honestly **more than I could ever have imagined.**
I’ve met hundreds, if not thousands, of amazing people along the way, worked on some incredible cars, created friendships with customers and built a business that I have been incredibly proud to call my own.
But over the last year, I’ve had to be honest with myself.
Valeting has **always been a passion for me, never just a job**. Unfortunately, recently I’ve realised that I’m not getting the same kick, excitement and burning desire from the work that I used to.
And when something that you’ve loved doing for nearly 10 years starts to feel different, I think sometimes you have to have the courage to accept that it might be time for a change.
So, at the **end of October 2026**, the doors to JW Valeting will officially close.
I want to say a **massive THANK YOU to every single person who has ever used JW Valeting.** Whether you booked once, booked regularly, recommended me to a friend, shared a post, left a review or simply supported me from the sidelines — **I genuinely appreciate every single one of you.**
And to all of my **long-term and loyal customers**, some of whom have been with me **since day one**…
There honestly aren’t enough words to thank you.
You’ve stuck with me through the years, trusted me with your cars, recommended me to friends and family and played a huge part in allowing me to turn a little business started from the back of an old Ford Focus into what it became.
**I will never forget that. ❤️**
Although one chapter is coming to an end, I’m also incredibly excited because **another one is about to begin.**
At the end of October, I’ll be closing one door and opening another as I start my **new adventure with my new business.**
It’s a big change, but I’m genuinely excited to see where this next chapter takes me.
For now though, there is still a little bit of time left…
