Thank you Issy and Roger for my beautiful flowers (and chocolates and gin!!!! 🥰)

Pressies are never necessary or expected and I'm not very good at receiving gifts for doing a job that I absolute love. The gift for me is knowing I have hopefully made someone's life better and opened doors to their future.

Issy and I had a brilliant last lesson today in her own car up and down the motorway. Despite Issy having already been on the motorway during our lessons she just wanted to have one more with me in her car, and she drove like she's been driving for years!

So happy for you Issy. Looking forward to hearing updates about your driving adventures.

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!! 😁🥳 Sammie finally has a driving licence! 🥳🥳 A perfectly perfect 1st time pass after taking a break mid learning to become a Mummy! 🚗🎉🌟

Congratulations to Sammie, well done for a lovely drive. Your family are in completely safe hands! 👏

So much has changed since you started learning to drive! The last of my Marshall clan is free and independent on the roads! 🛣️

And in today's news.... 📣 WE HAVE AN INDEPENDENT ISSY!!! 🥳🥳 🚗✨🎉

I was well enough today 🤧 to be able to accompany Issy on her driving test and was so proud of the driver that Issy has become. 💪🌟 It was a beautiful safe drive, leading to that well deserved pink driving licence. ✅😊

Issy has worked hard to get to this point learning a lot about herself throughout the whole process. 📝🧠📈 And it has been an absolute joy to witness. 😍🙌

Thank you Issy for trusting the process and allowing me to be part of your journey. 🤝💖✨

Even though Issy and I have been on the motorway a few times already I'm looking forward to our normal lesson time next week where we go out onto the motorway in her car. 🛣

But in the mean time Issy, be safe, don't have James Marriot up too loud, and wave if you see me 👋

Well, that was just delightful, wasn’t it Dylan?! 🥳🚗
This one was a long, long time coming! After picking up a knee injury just three days before we’d planned to start his lessons, fast-forward five months, one operation and finally the go-ahead from the doctor… and we eventually got Dylan behind the wheel — slightly dodgy knee and all! 😂

Dylan, thank you for your company, your focus and for being such a pleasure to teach as you’ve navigated your learning journey.

Huge congratulations on a wonderfully safe and competent drive today, especially with what sounded like more than your fair share of obstacles thrown your way!

Enjoy that freedom, stay safe on the roads, and don’t forget to wave when you see me! 👋🚗

Managed to beat most of the torrential rain this morning for just a slightly wet driving test in Taunton today.

Thank you for trusting in me to help you become a lovely understanding safe driver. Keep being aware and enjoy your new found freedom. Even if that means taking your brother wherever he wants to go! 😂

Thanks to Mum (mostly Mum I believe, but thanks Dad too) for putting in the hours of revision between lessons. I know it's nerve-wracking for a parent without dual controls to get in the var with their offspring, but I hope those nerves settled quickly as Noah gained greater understanding.

Another Staplegrove kid safely out and about. 🤩

🌟 Easy for Eli! 🌟

This morning I was able to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride as Eli took his examiner on a lovely drive. Having me, or someone else in the back of the car, can be a comforting presence for some of my learners. Sometimes it's useful for me to help them understand why previous tests haven't gone to plan... but today definitely wasn't one of those days!

A wonderfully safe, confident drive earned Eli a well-deserved pass on his very first attempt. It was lovely to see one of my previous learners (and Eli's friend) giving him a wave as we drove past, and even better to hear the examiner's lovely compliments about his driving at the end of the test.

Now all you have to do, Eli, is decide whether you're going to buy a car! 🚗😄

Good luck with your future studies, and remember, you know where I am if you ever need any driving advice... although I don't think you will!

No pressure for any of my current learners.... 😉😉 but just FYI, I don't need a Hannah Willberry wonder pony keyring with a hand crafted crocheted scarf to match my real life ponys headcollar as I have one of those already!! And I shall name it Izzy Berry! 😍

The snacks however will have been demolished!!

Thank you Izzy for my lovely treat hamper and card that may have made me cry, just a little. Super proud that Izzys first solo drive was to get my goodies. 🙏

But, in all seriousness, I love my job, I never expect anything in return but am so grateful 🙏 x

Who'd have thought that moving the horses to a new yard would lead to a full driving licence!! Izzy, it's been an honour and a privilege to help you be and feel safe on the roads. 🙏

Managing to juggle manual driving lessons along side automatic private practice. I will never forget you telling me that the gears are not as bad as you thought they were going to be!

I've had double Sams before, and double Lillys... now it's time for double Harrys!!!! 🚗🎉
A big, huge, mahoosive congratulations to Harry for gaining his wheels today in Taunton! A very well-deserved pass certificate is in the bag. 👏

Harry did a fantastic job managing those test nerves and even showed that it's possible to go wrong... right! It's absolutely okay to miss your exit, as long as you deal with it safely and follow the rules of the road.

At one five-exit roundabout, Harry accidentally took the 4th exit instead of the 3rd, which led us into a no-through road. No problem at all! He stayed calm, safely turned the car around, and got us back on route for a lovely, safe drive. That's exactly what the examiner wants to see.
Harry, you've been an absolute pleasure to teach. It's been brilliant watching your confidence, understanding and knowledge grow with every lesson.

Keep driving safely, continue learning, and always be prepared for the unexpected.

I won't see you next week, but hopefully I'll see you again soon, as your sister is patiently waiting for a space to become available!

Harry's space already has someone eagerly waiting for it too, so there's no rest for the wicked—we go again next week with a brand-new learner. 🚗

Happy days indeed!!! Huge congratulations to Harry for a superb drive, which resulted in a well deserved pass certificate in sunny Taunton today. 🚗🚗

No more mammoth moped drives to get to work! No more getting wet on rainy days (wouldn't mind a rainy day at the moment though)
No more missing college if your lift can't pick you up!! 😉

Harry, you have been super fun to spend time in the car with. I'll forever hear "all right" as a one syllable word! Thank you for choosing me to be part of your journey ✨️
