💜🖤 Back on the Road in No Time! 🖤💜

This Kia suffered a non-start issue while parked at a motorway service station, leaving the owner stranded and unable to continue their journey.

Upon arrival, it quickly became clear that the battery was no longer providing enough power to start the vehicle. After safely jump-starting the car, we carried out a full charging system check to ensure the alternator and charging circuit were operating correctly.

With the vehicle running as it should, we then performed a battery health test after charging, which confirmed that the battery had reached the end of its service life and was no longer capable of holding the charge it needed.

A new battery was fitted on-site, and the owner was soon back on the road with complete peace of mind. ✅

At an impressive 7½ years old, this was the first repair the vehicle has required — a real testament to the benefits of regular maintenance and proper vehicle care.

💜🖤 Sometimes it's the things we can't see that cause the biggest problems 🖤💜

These rear brake discs looked perfectly acceptable from the outside, but the owner could feel something wasn't quite right when driving.

After carrying out an inspection, the cause of the issue quickly became clear. The inner faces of both rear brake discs were heavily corroded and worn, despite appearing fine from the visible side.

A new set of rear brake discs and pads was fitted, restoring safe and effective braking performance. ✅

This is a great example of why regular vehicle inspections and servicing are so important. Hidden issues like this can often be identified early, helping to prevent breakdowns, reduce repair costs, and keep you safe on the road.

💜🖤 Another happy customer back on the road today 🖤💜

After seeing that we’re now operating as a mobile service, a friend of ours got in touch after experiencing charging issues with his vehicle.

He had recently had a new battery and alternator fitted elsewhere, but after a full day at work the battery was completely flat and the car wouldn’t start.

It didn’t take long for us to diagnose the issue — the ECU wasn’t receiving the control signal from the alternator, meaning the battery wasn’t charging correctly.

While testing the wiring, we quickly noticed the alternator loom plug wasn’t fully seated. On closer inspection, we found part of the original alternator plug had broken off and become lodged inside the loom connector, preventing it from clipping into place properly.

After carefully removing the broken piece, we were able to reconnect the plug securely with a satisfying click.

Once restarted, we confirmed the vehicle was charging correctly again and cleared the charging system fault codes from the ECU.
