This Ford Transit arrived with us as a complete non-runner after suffering an ECU failure. After carrying out our diagnostic checks, we confirmed the engine control unit was the root cause of the breakdown.

Using specialist equipment, we successfully cloned the original ECU data onto a replacement unit, preserving the vehicle’s coding and immobiliser information. Once installed and tested, the Transit fired straight up and was back on the road.

✅ Full diagnostics carried out
✅ ECU fault confirmed
✅ ECU cloned and programmed
✅ Vehicle running and driving again

Another vehicle saved from an expensive dealer replacement and lengthy downtime.

Mercedes-Benz Misfire Diagnosis 🔧

Customer complaint: Engine light and rough running.

After diagnostic testing, we identified a leaking valve causing loss of compression in one cylinder. This prevented proper combustion, resulting in the misfire condition.

A compression and leak-down test confirmed the fault, allowing us to pinpoint the issue and recommend the correct repair.

Regular maintenance and early diagnosis can help prevent more extensive engine damage.

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Tyre Fitter to join
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, including some weekends

Key Responsibilities:
• Fitting, balancing, and repairing tyres on a range of vehicles
• Conducting basic vehicle safety checks
• Providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a tyre fitter preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
