🔍 Not every air conditioning fault is just low gas...
This Ford Puma was booked in because the A/C wasn't performing as it should.
Rather than simply re-gassing the system, we carried out a nitrogen pressure test to accurately check for leaks.
The test quickly identified a small leak from the A/C condenser, allowing us to pinpoint the fault and recommend the correct repair.
Proper diagnosis saves time, money and avoids wasting refrigerant on a system that won't stay sealed.

🔧 Another Ford sorted!

This 2015 Ford Kuga came in with Bluetooth and voice recognition not working.

After diagnosing the fault using our Ford product knowledge, specialist diagnostic equipment, and the latest Ford FDRS software with our VCM3, we traced the problem to a faulty APIM (SYNC) module.

A new module was fitted, programmed and configured to the vehicle, and everything is now back up and running as it should. 👍

Modern Fords aren't always a simple plug-in-and-go repair. Having the correct Ford equipment, regular training and manufacturer-level software means we can diagnose and repair these faults properly.

🚗 Another repair completed at CR MOT Centre! 🚗
This 1994 Ford Fiesta was recovered to us as a non-starter. After carrying out a full diagnosis, we traced the fault to a defective transceiver ring in the vehicle's immobiliser system.
The faulty component was replaced, restoring communication between the key and immobiliser, and the Fiesta is now back up and running as it should. ✅

🚨 Lucky escape for one of our customers

This Fiesta came in with the oil light on the dash — and it’s a good thing they didn’t ignore it for long. On inspection, we found the timing belt had missing teeth 😬

This is a clear sign the belt was overdue for replacement, and it could have led to serious engine damage if left any longer.

⚠️ Important reminder:
If your oil light comes on while driving, stop the engine immediately. Continuing to drive can cause severe damage.

🔧 As a Ford specialist, at CR MOT Centre we recommend replacing timing/wet belts on these engines at:
✔️ Around 80,000 miles
✔️ Or every 8 years (whichever comes first)

🔧 Timing Belt Replacement – 2012 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Petrol
