Audi RSQ3 in for a carbon clean, injector service and health check.

Everything went smoothly apart from the terrible tune on the car, Afr was unstable, throttle cut at low rpm, ignition timing pull at high rpm, popping every time you let off the throttle and faults in the ECU all due to poor tuning. Safe to say the customer will be returning for a full custom ecu and tcu tune.

This is why we no longer like using uprated insert on hpfp unless fitted to a new pump. Our go to pump is Loba, they are fit and forget kits.

This data log is the reason why, we did a pull in an Audi RS3 8v pfl running our stg3 setup. This pull was lucky to be on our base map and the run was aborted, it pulled ignition timing on every cylinder upto -13degree which is pure fuel starvation!

We ran through the data logs and noticed the fuel rail pressure wasn't stable, we quickly swapped the pump out for a brand new loba hpfp and all timing pull went to 0, not only did it go to 0 fuel pressure was perfect and held peak pressure of 14mbar compared to the 13mbar from the insert.

Another happy customer that left with a rather fast rs3 8v pfl with just shy of 1.9bar of peak boost, full boost by 3150rpm and held 1.55bar redline.

Another rs3 in for an engine build and tuning. This should be a spicy one, the vehicle is already fitted with a SRM turbo capable of 700hp+ we are going to build the engine, fit di port m**h and custom tune to suit.

Testing the TTU750, it ran 710hp and 953nm! Next step will be 4bar map sensors to turn the boost up 💪.

Our TTU750 in action, consistent times this morning of 5s 100 200 3rd to 4th gear, struggling with traction atm. Its running 2bar tapered down to 1.9bar redline. We know it has more boost to offer turbo currently running at 60% duty, but lets be realistic its a hybrid turbo and we are looking for long term reliability over dragy times.

This with suspension and dry weather will sit you in high 4s, will prove this over the coming weeks.
