The Tain Highland Gathering, sponsored by Glenmorangie plc will take place at Glenmorangie Ground, on the A9, just north of Tain. A traditional Highland Gathering with all the usual events - Highland Dancing, Piping, Track & Field Events, Cycling, and, of course, the Heavies! Local Events commence 11am - Open Events from 2pm

Entry - Adults £6.00; Under 16 £2.50, Car Park £2, Programme £1 Toddlers (pre-school) free

We are devastated by the sudden loss of Fiona Sutherland, our Secretary and dear friend. Fiona was a pivotal part of the Tain Highland Gathering and played a key role in the revival of the games in 1993 alongside Murray Macleod.

Our thoughts are with Robert, as well as all of her family and friends. Fiona will be sorely missed by us all. 💔

Tain Highland Gathering

My wife and I had the most fantastic time at the Tain Highland Gathering on Sunday. It was a real honour to be made Chieftain of the Games for the day — something I’ll never forget.

A huge thank you to the organisers, competitors, volunteers, and everyone who came along to keep this wonderful tradition alive.

It was a privilege to play a small part in it this year. Roll on the next Gathering!

Doggies are very welcome to attend the Gathering as long as they are kept on the lead while walking round the field. No free dram of Glenmorangie for them but there are various water stations around the field. 🐶
