As the 2026 BTCC season draws to a close, so too does our contracted involvement as engine partner to EXCELR8 Motorsport, ending a remarkable 17-season run in Britain’s leading touring car championship.



We’re incredibly proud of the performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness our engines have delivered over the years, helping drivers and teams challenge for titles in this highly competitive series.



Since we returned to the BTCC in 2010, Swindon-powered cars have secured four Drivers’ Championships – in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2025 – alongside multiple Manufacturers’, Teams’ and Independents’ titles. 🏆



Right now, we are focused on supporting partners in Australian Supercars and a growing number of customers with high-performance road-going engines and electronics projects. We’ll continue to keep a close watch on the BTCC and remain open to future opportunities within the championship.



Thank you to everyone in the BTCC paddock for the support, success and unforgettable memories we’ve shared along the way.

Small car, big impression!



The Goodwood Revival 2026 delivered another reminder of what makes historic racing so special - and Nick Swift’s giant-killing Mini was once again taking the fight to cars it has no right, on paper, to be challenging. In Race Two of the St Mary’s Trophy, it even secured an astonishing fourth place and was firmly the crowd favourite!



After the two race results were combined, Nick’s Mini, co-driven by Alex Buncombe, finished sixth overall in a field packed with big-engined Ford Galaxies, Lotus Cortinas and Alfa Romeos.



As well as clearly being powered by the enthusiastic cheers from the grandstands, we are proud to support Swiftune Engineering with the supply of all steel crankshafts for its racing engines – built in Swindon. Congratulations to Nick on another ‘powerful’ performance!
