At a quick glance from a distance the paint on this car didn't look too bad. However, when you looked closer the paint work was full of swirls and random deep scratches (RDS) caused from items being placed on the car such as handbags and shopping and then being dragged across the paint surface. The worst areas were the drivers side boot, roof and bonnet. The complete process took two days and involved the usual paint prep work of washing, various chemical treatments and claying to remove all surface contaminates followed by a lot of heavy compounding and polishing. The final stage of paint protection used a combination of a synthetic polymer sealant and a natural carnauba wax to give the best protection and appearance possible. The wheels had already been refurbished by Platinum Alloy Wheel Solutions, so just needed a quick clean and seal.
