🚗 Another Seat Arona back to driving quietly with CJL Automotive! 🔧

This customer had recently had their brake pads replaced, but shortly afterwards the vehicle started making a knocking noise from the brakes — almost as if the pads were loose. Although the pads had been fitted correctly, they were a cheaper aftermarket brand that appeared to be causing the issue.

We supplied a set of quality Brembo brake pads and came out to fit them. Once fitted, we carried out our checks and the knocking noise had completely gone. ✅

Another brake issue resolved, giving the customer peace of mind and a quieter, safer drive! 💪

🚐 Another van back on the road with CJL Automotive! 🔧

This customer’s van failed its MOT due to an ABS warning light. The light had been coming and going, but typically decided to stay on when it mattered most! 😅

We came out to diagnose the issue and found a fault within the ABS pump. Rather than guessing or replacing parts unnecessarily, we sent the pump away to have the fault confirmed and repaired.

Once the repaired pump was returned, we got it fitted back onto the van, bled the braking system and carried out our checks to make sure everything was working as it should. ✅

Another fault diagnosed, repaired and one less headache for the customer! 💪

🔧 Citroën Berlingo – Front-End Knock 🚐

Another job completed by CJL Automotive!

The customer had been experiencing a knocking noise from the front of the Berlingo for some time, but recently noticed it was getting noticeably worse.

The vehicle had already been taken to a garage, but unfortunately they were unable to find the cause of the noise.

We attended the vehicle to investigate and carried out our own checks, finding the top mount bush was worn and the shock absorber was leaking slightly.

We got the issue identified and got the vehicle back to where it should be. 🔧

The customer contacted us after noticing the clutch was becoming very worn and difficult to use. We attended the vehicle to diagnose the issue and confirmed the clutch was well and truly on its way out.

We arranged a suitable date to return, and came back to carry out the clutch replacement.

🔧 Vauxhall Adam – Starter Motor Replacement 🔧

The customer contacted us after the starter motor kept playing up and failing, leaving them struggling to get the car started.

A new starter motor was fitted and tested, getting the Adam starting reliably again. ✅

🔧 Volvo XC60 – Auxiliary Belt Failure 🔧

The customer called us out after the battery warning light came on on their Volvo XC60.

After carrying out diagnostics, we found the auxiliary belt had snapped. We checked the pulleys and tensioner over thoroughly, and thankfully everything was in good working order.

The belt was simply old, original and heavily perished, so it was time for a replacement.
