🤍 A Little Note About Our Cake Photos 🤍
We wanted to be completely transparent with all of our lovely customers.
Every cake you see on our page is 100% real. Each one has been lovingly baked, decorated and photographed by Mary or myself.
Now, we'll be honest... we're brilliant at making cakes, but we're pretty rubbish at taking photos! 😂
To help showcase our cakes a little better, we sometimes use AI to create or enhance the backgrounds of our photos and to help us write or polish the wording in our social media posts. It's simply a tool that helps us present our work in the best possible way.
The cake itself is never AI-generated or digitally altered. What you see is the genuine cake we've made, exactly as it left our kitchen.
As many of you know, we're currently working on our new Cake Creations unit. Once our new kitchen is finished and fully set up, we'll have a much better space for photographing our cakes, so we hope we won't need to rely on AI nearly as much.
If you'd ever like to see the original, unedited photo of one of our cakes without the enhanced background, just ask! We'd be more than happy to share it with you. We have absolutely nothing to hide and are proud of every cake that is made.
At the end of the day, we'd rather spend our time perfecting buttercream than pretending we're professional photographers! 📸🎂
And finally... in the spirit of full transparency... yes, this post was written with a little help from AI too! 🤖 I mean, if AI can help us explain things better while Mary and I get on with making delicious cakes, we'd be daft not to use it! 😄
