Multiple 2024 award winning Mk1 (TA22) Toyota Celica.
Body filling, Paint prep & paintwork carried out by Heaney Motor company In the owner’s home town of Swatragh, Co Derry.
Custom colour formulated to replicate the previous colour (Toyota 471 brown Metallic) which is currently unavailable from any paint company. The panels and engine bay were prepared from bare metal. The paint finish was requested by the owner to be kept as close to the factory finish as possible, once car was assembled it came back to us for a final inspection, wet sand and polish, the chrome mouldings, emblems and coach lines were also fitted at this time.
We’re extremely proud of our contribution in helping to create this show winning Celica.

This stunning one owner BMW 840ci M-Sport recently collected by its owner following a 12month restoration.
This car is virtually in as new condition, with a automatic transmission rebuild and every conceivable mechanical and suspension component replaced with genuine BMW parts only, the only exception being the exhaust system as some parts were no longer factory supplied, we fitted a Supersprint sports stainless system from the headers back, giving this V8 the sound and performance it deserves.
The body was treated to an engine out bare metal colour change from the original individual colour Violet to the deep glossy piano black it is now. The leather piping on the seats was also changed to match the new exterior paint.
Two coats of ceramic coating were applied to the paintwork for added protection.
A striking looking car which we think looks as good if not better than the current model.

This stunning 1976 Mk1 Toyota has just left our shop after a full nut & bolt restoration. This LHD Celica the second to leave us in the last two weeks was completely stripped to a bare shell, minor metal rectification was required in some areas, it was then prepped & repainted in the original colour Toyota 023 white, the engine bay and boot were painted to obtain the OEM matte finish.
The freshly rebuilt 2T engine was installed with a new pair of Weber 40DCOE carbs and free branch manifold and custom stainless steel exhaust system. The newly re-trimmed black leather interior is a perfect contrast to the beautiful blue/white. The car was showered with every new part that was available or sourced by the owner over the years in preparation for this build. A set of 15” Japan racing alloy wheels and tyres provide a retro look to this highly desirable TA23.
The photos really don’t do this car justice, the devils in the detail and it can only be seen in the flesh.
We like to express our thanks to the support from the owner, with his passion for the car it made this a great project. We hope he has as much fun driving the car as we had building it.
