This one wasn't for the faint hearted.

Rotbox welding decided we needed to do something a little more than your MOT failures or a service.

We took this rotten Defender 90 pickup and started from the ground up. We started with a brand new chassis from Richard chassis and replaced pretty much everything which we felt needing a freshen up.

Brake lines, Arm bushes, Full chassis rewire the lot. This resulted in a mot without a single advisory.

No record breaking time on this one but it was in and out and back to the customer in 2 weeks.

With the garage flat out and no time for our own projects, we thought we'd give you something a little different.

Seeing as the Rover P4 is all over the local social media at the moment, we broke out the camera and gave a interview to the one and only .

Whats the saying...... when one door closes another opens ?

Tomorrow is a new chapter for me as I leave after almost meeting that 10 year mile stone. (Missed it by 6 months)

Over 9 years of working with a cracking company, it must be good cause its the longest job I've ever had.

A lot of great times attending car shows up and down the country with the team and making great memories on track with .

Massive thank you to John and Darren for putting up with me for so long and not sacking me for my lack of "PC" mouth.

Brentacre was my life day in day out and fuelled my addiction for cars even if I was talking to someone on the phone who was adamant that their Ebay air filter gained them 15bhp more.

As of tomorrow I will be full time in the MCUK HQ building this business further to offer my current and future customers a better service. Without you lot I wouldn't be able to make this dream of running my own garage possible.

More time in the garage will free me up also to bring you guys more social media content with frank so expect that a lot more also but for now please if everyone could share my page and recommendations would be truly great full

Nissan 370z Nismo in for the common central slave cylinder failure which is located inside the box.

As this is a known flaw with nissan we made the decision to import the CSC Delete kit.
This locates the the cylinder outside of the box with a fork system for better maintenance.

Yet another Clio 197 in for a manifold fix.

With this being a standard manifold the flexi's sit a lot higher up to the engine which would require full removal in order to fix them, as the manifold was coming off anyway the customer decided to opt for aftermarket Gravity manifold.

Quick health check on the car and it was back out the door down to Tenby to rip through the lanes with a bit more noise.

We've had it all in this week with the RS's. We've covered exhaust flexi and manifold changes, dreaded ball joint play, dephaser replacement and general maintenance.
