Planning a walk out to Worm’s Head? Check the Causeway Times!

If you’re staying with us and fancy exploring one of Gower’s most iconic landmarks, make sure you check the Worm’s Head causeway safe crossing times before you head out.

The causeway is only accessible for about 2.5 hours either side of low tide, and the tide comes in fast — so timing is everything.

The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) Worm’s Head team provide daily safe‑crossing guidance and keep an eye on visitors from their lookout. They’re brilliant, friendly, and always happy to help keep everyone safe.
