Mumbles Armed Forces Day – Today!!

If you’re staying with us this weekend, Mumbles is hosting a brilliant Armed Forces Day celebration on Sunday 5th July, 10am–4pm at Underhill Park.

Expect a village parade, live music, military displays, children’s entertainment, stalls, food vendors and classic military vehicles — a great community day out just minutes from the campsite.

A lovely chance to explore Mumbles and show support for our armed forces community while enjoying your stay on the Gower.

Sunday 12th July

Swansea is gearing up for another huge sporting weekend as IRONMAN 70.3 returns to the city on 12th July. Expect an incredible atmosphere, busy roads, and some spectacular racing across Swansea Bay, Mumbles and the Gower.

If you’re staying with us during the event, please allow extra time for travel and be aware of planned road closures around the city and waterfront. It’s well worth heading down to cheer on the athletes — the route takes in some stunning local scenery and the energy is always fantastic.

He’s already winning hearts, but he’s missing one thing… a name.

Heading out this evening? Wormshead Hotel will be showing England vs Congo DR at 5pm.
Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy the game with the backdrop of Rhossili Bay — not many places beat that for match vibes.
