MERCEDES MAJOR OIL LEAK REPAIR
Another major job completed in the workshop.
This Mercedes came in with multiple oil and coolant leaks which required extensive dismantling to repair properly.
Work carried out:
Front subframe removed
Gearbox removed
Engine sump fully resealed
Rear crankshaft oil seal replaced
Water pump replaced due to coolant leak
Full inspection and clean-up completed
A huge amount of labour involved on these models, but no shortcuts taken — repaired properly the first time.

Another big job completed on a Mitsubishi Outlander.
Balance shaft delete carried out, and as recommended, a full timing chain replacement done at the same time for long-term reliability.
Work completed:
Balance shaft delete
New timing chain kit fitted
Engine oil and oil filter replaced
New rocker cover gasket fitted
New injector seal fitted after diagnosing one injector chuffing/leaking
Engine now running smoother, quieter, and ready to go back on the road properly.

This Mitsubishi Outlander came in for a timing chain replacement, and during inspection, we discovered a severe rattling noise coming from the balance shaft.

💡 Our Recommendation:
We advised the customer to delete the balance shaft, as the dealership quoted over £2,500 to replace it.
