Do you know the difference between HEV, PHEV and BEV?

HEV - Self charging vehicle. Uses an engine as the primary source of power which also charges a battery. Benefits are no need to plug in, improved economy, no range anxiety and a perfect way to start your electric journey.
PHEV- Plug in hybrid. Will have an engine but is able to fully drive on battery power alone. Benefits are excellent economy when using for low daily mileage and no range anxiety. Perfect for anyone who has a home charger, typically drives under 50 miles per day and for those who want the best of both worlds.
BEV- Full electric relying on battery power alone. Benefit being much lower running costs especially on overnight home charging.

At Celtic we have all three types and our team are ready to answer any questions to help you buy the most suitable car for you.
