Mikes EP3 in with a bottom end swap, upgraded to K24 and got himself another 40lbft peak torque, which is alittle unusual..typically we see 30lbft but we arent complaining.
Nearly 20hp up which is typical for a K24 bottom swap.
99% sure thats the most weve seen from a stock bottom K24 at this location(Sittingbourne)

Check these swirlflaps out...

Literally nearly cause the engine too det
Used long nose pliers too pull the bits out of the valve stems where they were jammed

This is the closest ive ever seen too the swirlflaps
Failing
Lucky enough this model.of
Bmw actually just clip on and off for a swirl flap setup.

Other bmws would be integrated into the inlet manifold
So theyve turned it into a serviceable part 🤔
More money for the customer

There is a option for a delete kit on these which can be done.
Make do away with the swirls all together
And no more issues
