The MG MGB GT is a 2+2 hatchback coupé version of the iconic MGB roadster. Launched in October 1965, it was famously styled by Pininfarina and offered improved aerodynamics, weather protection, and cargo practicality with its rear tailgate. But was it fair to earn the affectionate nickname of "the poor man’s Aston Martin"?

From Forumla One to sports car endurance races like 24 Heures du Le Mans, drivers have relied on Smiths gauges to know precise performance details at every moment of a race.

This Porsche 911 oil temperature and pressure gauge is one in a set of instruments designed and built for this much-loved classic. Incredibly, it is estimated that at least 150,000 classic air-cooled Porsche 911 models (from the 1964 to 1989 model years) are estimated to still be on the road globally. And, with our replacement gauges, we aim to help keep those cars running.

The Triumph 6T Thunderbird is widely regarded as a motorcycle that embodies the timeless style and performance of British engineering from the 1950s and early 1960s. And did you know that the bike was the first to include a headlamp built into a distinctive housing or nacelle that also incorporated the Smiths instruments and switches; a Triumph feature used during the 1950s and 60s?

One of the best looking dashboards of all classic cars. The Jaguar E-Type. An instrument cluster featuring Smiths gauges - 6 in this case, but often 7 with a clock and including the speedometer and tachometer. The centralised panel features Smiths gauges mounted above an array of switches for hazard lights, fans, etc. Magic. And we keep the spirit of the magnificent E-Type alive by continuing to build replacement Smiths gauges for this special classic Jaguar using the original drawings.
