✅Mindset Shifts, Country Lanes, and Big Roundabouts! 🏆🚗
👊Driving is just as much a mental game as it is a physical one, and this week our students proved they have exactly what it takes to overcome the challenges!
Ella & Nina – The "Scrunch It" Method! 📝 After struggling to move past small mistakes (which usually leads to making more), Iwan had them write their error on a piece of paper, scrunch it up, and throw it into the back seat! The rule? No thinking about it until the end of the lesson. By clearing that mental space, both drove brilliantly—and neither even bothered to pick the paper up at the end! 🗑️✨
Zoe – A fantastic lesson tackling tricky country lanes this week! She even had a special guest passenger with her 11-year-old in the back for half-term. Great experience driving with a full car! 🌳🚘
Danielle – Total roundabout confidence! Danielle confidently negotiated the busy Briton Ferry and Baglan roundabouts this week. Next stop: diving into tricky routes to get completely ready for her upcoming practical test! 🔄🤞
Sienna – An incredible first lesson! Having never driven a car before, Sienna completely nailed junctions and even had a successful crack at a couple of roundabouts. Talk about a flying start! 💨
Lynnie – Trust your gut! Lynnie discovered her natural instincts for reverse bay parking were spot on. With just a tiny bit of tweaking, she was reversing in like an absolute pro. 🅿️
Kimberly – Steering confidence is soaring! Kimberly negotiated the notoriously narrow Gower lanes with total aplomb. If you can steer through those, you can steer anywhere! 🛣️👌
Mariana – Smashed another milestone! Mariana drove in heavy, busy traffic for the very first time and was thrilled to discover it wasn't scary at all. 🏙️
📈 Mistakes are just data—they don't define your drive! Once you let go of the last error, you leave room to nail the next move.
