I am now away on annual leave, and Connors Marine Services will be closed until Tuesday 13th October.

Customers are still welcome to send any enquiries, messages or emails during this time. However, please note that I will not be responding to messages until I return.

After 17 years, it was time for the Coppercoat system on Alegria, a 40ft Fairline, to be fully renewed.

The project began with a full sanding of the hull, followed by a thorough washdown to ensure the surface was properly prepared for the new application.

Due to the size of the vessel, the Coppercoat was applied in three stages, port side, starboard side, followed by the transom, tunnels and patches from the stands.

The hull received a complete treatment consisting of 1 clear coat followed by 5 coats of Coppercoat. Once fully cured, the surface was carefully abraded to activate the new Coppercoat system before the vessel was relaunched.

The customer was delighted with the fresh new finish and pleased to have the hull protected and ready to provide many more years of low-maintenance antifouling protection.

Axopar 37 - Brabus edition 🛥

Full clean completed before carrying out a cut, polish, and wax to the hull sides. The roof was heavily oxidised, requiring a heavy compound stage followed by polishing and sealing to restore the finish.

All remaining surfaces were machine polished and protected before finishing the job with fresh antifoul all ready for another season on the water.
