Thought this would make a change from ecoboost. Vauxhall Grandland petrol Puretec engine in because of excessive oil usage. Remove engine from vehicle strip engine completely. Home bores fit new piston rings, new headgasket, headbolts. New quality wet belt kit fitted

New Vauxhall VIVARO in today with a failed timing belt. Carried out cylinder leakage test and found leakage through all 8 exhaust valves. Replaced all exhaust valves and refitted cylinder head using new gasket and bolts. Both inlet and exhaust camshafts replaced as suspect cam lobes have moved. New timing chain fitted between camshafts. New cambelt kit and water pump fitted back up and running. Going back to it’s customer in Leicestershire tomorrow 🥳🥳
