We are looking for a vehicle technician/MOT tester (Althouth MOT qualification not essential, training provided for the right person) minimum of 3 years experiance. Pay May range from £26-£35k per annum. 5 days a week, no weekends.

Holidays 🏖️ are here and if you’re going on a trip just do some basic checks that might prevent you sitting on the side of the road.

Check your oil, coolant and tyre pressures. And if you’re unsure please come down and we’ll happily check for you and even show you how to do it if you would prefer.

Don’t be shy, get looking in those mirrors! 🪞

Your wing mirrors and rear-view mirror must offer clear views without any obstruction. If damaged or broken they can be repaired or replaced - something we can easily do to make sure your car passes the MOT.

Overlooked but easily fixed is the condition of the spare tyre, just take a look under the boot carpet (I know there’s 7 footballs, 5 1/2 pairs of shoes, a pushchair and the remnants of a McDonald’s in there) and check your spare has air in it, if indeed there is no spare fear not. There are other fixes for flat tyres. 🛞

Here’s one that can be checked every time you put fuel in - A faulty fuel cap seal!

Just cast an eye at the sealing of your fuel cap and check for cracks or bits of rubber missing.

Another indication of a good seal is when you undo the cap you’ll get a whooosh (usually on petrols), then a lovely smell of fuel!

⚠️ Visibility is everything on todays roads. It’s an easy check to look up and down your wiper blades and check for tears or deformities.
