🔎 2016 Ford Transit Custom in the workshop for multiple issues.

Initial concerns reported:

Coolant loss and overheating

Poor braking performance

Wipers not operating

Diagnostic process:
🔧 Cooling system pressure-tested → Leak traced to radiator, with water pump also showing leakage also.
🔧 Brake inspection → Pads worn beyond safe limits on all four corners.
🔧 Electrical tests on wiper circuit → Fault traced back to corroded wires within the loom, and motor with poor continuity at the connector plug.

Repairs completed:
✔️ Radiator replaced and system re-bled
✔️ New water pump installed to restore correct coolant circulation
✔️ Pads renewed all round for balanced braking
✔️ Wiper motor replaced and corroded wiring repaired with new pins fitted to plug

Post-repair verification:
✅ Cooling system holding pressure and pumping correctly
✅ Braking performance restored
✅ Wipers now operating smoothly and clearing screens as intended

Here we have this Land Rover discovery , the pride and joy of one of our new customers . Needing a MOT and with an obvious fail point , he opted to get it done prior to it going through a test .

In and out in the same day is what we try to achieve everytime with jobs like this , with a couple of hours of dirty work and some tlc the car was back to the customer in no time .

🚘 Mercedes S350 – Coolant Leak Repair 🚘

This beautiful executive-class S350 came in with a coolant leak. After a full inspection, we found the culprit: a coolant elbow that had blown the inside of its housing apart.

We ordered and fitted a genuine Mercedes replacement part, then correctly bled and pressure-tested the cooling system. With everything running leak-free, the car was returned to the customer in perfect condition. ✅

Another job done right with genuine parts and attention to detail. 👨‍🔧

VW Passat Alltrack came in after dropping into limp mode. 🔧 Initial diagnostics pointed straight to the turbo — strip down confirmed the intake impeller had separated, destroying the turbo and intake pipe in the process.

We installed a brand-new OE-spec turbocharger assembly, replaced the intake pipe, fitted all new gaskets and seals, carried out an oil and filter service, and renewed the air filter after thoroughly cleaning the air box of debris.

Engine was run up to operating temperature, boost system was pressure-tested along with the coolant system, then road-tested under load — everything now holding spec and producing full boost as intended. 💨
