When the customer says the locking wheel nut key might be in the boot but isn't sure, after emptying the boot and chasing footballs down the street you then discover it hasn't even got locking wheel nuts. Football coaches for ya

It's been 'non-stop' brakes all this week at HD Auto Centre. From brake pads on Peugeots and Fords to ABS lamps on Mini's.
One notable job was a set of high performance brake pads on a Mercedes AMG CLA for one of our regular customers Mr Anderson of ABCO beverages.
Mercedes had quoted £300 to replace the brakes but Mr Anderson was much happier paying less than a 3rd of that for the same quality parts.

Had a new customer call in the garage this week after having her Qashqai Mot'd at Halfords. The car failed the Mot and they quoted over £800 for the repairs and wanted to charge a further £17.50 for a retest. Without even looking at the failure I knew we'd be able to at least half the extortionate price they quoted. All in all we were able to repair all the defects and Mot the car for £350. One happy New customer. 🚗
