🏍️ Out with the old… really old! 😅

These Metzeler MEZ4s were from Week 48 of 2005, they’ve certainly earned their retirement!

Replaced with a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Road 6s from Week 24 of 2026. New rubber, better grip, happier riding!

Keeping these machines in peak condition takes the right tools, attention to detail, and a passion for doing the job properly. From routine maintenance to major servicing, we’ve got you covered.

As a VAT-registered independent workshop, we only use genuine BMW parts, meaning this customer’s manufacturer’s warranty remains fully intact. We can also update the BMW online service record to reflect all the work carried out, ensuring the bike’s service history is complete and up to date.

⚙️A little nice to know from James Price Motorcycles…🏍️

When your bike comes in for a valve / desmo service at JPM, you don’t just get a stamp in the service book and get sent on your way. We believe in doing things properly, and giving you that extra peace of mind. Here’s what you can always expect:

📸 Photographs – We’ll take a photo of your bike while it’s disassembled and the valves are being checked. You’ll get a copy alongside your service book.

📋 Spec Sheet – No vague “they were fine mate.” You’ll get a detailed sheet with your actual valve clearances.

🖨️ Diagnostic Printout – A Texa diagnostics report always comes back with your bike, so you know everything is exactly as it should be.

📖 Service Book – Filled out correctly, with clear notes on what’s been done.

⚙️ Replacement Parts – Any parts that come off your bike will be kept for you to see when you collect it.

At JPM, it’s not just about the service, it’s about trust, transparency, and knowing your pride and joy has been cared for the way it should be.

If you can’t make it, please just let us know as early as possible. Right now we’re booking 3–4 weeks in advance, and a cancelled appointment can often be offered to another customer who’s waiting.

A simple message or phone call really does make a difference.

We’re working hard behind the scenes getting our new premises ready.

Our shop front and showroom in Seaham are still coming together (around 6 weeks to go), but in the meantime, it’s business as usual in the workshop.

For bookings, get in touch on 07891 731779, we still have a limited number of spaces available in May, with bookings now going into June.
