Clearing loads of back log and finally getting this thing in primer even while I'm unwell has been a challenge, deleting fuel filler cap into a hidden location as requested and a full glass out and oanel off respray and rebuild. Starting at the top for now to get the glass back in but underneath the wings all the frame has been stripped to bare metal, isolated,etch primed, high build primed and all sanded ready for the colour coat.
Whatch this space for the final colour selection, also been busy making custom carbon parts for the car. Including; carbon spoiler end plates, carbon engine cover, carbon engine rain guard, head light covers, rear tail light center garnish, fixing the border carbon bonnet and the sard mc8r scuttle panel (smooth no vents or drains).
Still loads of chassis cuts to do to the trd2000 gt to position the radiators in the right place to fit the border bonnet, drains making, custom hidden fuel filler cap and customer managed to find an ultra rare cusco bolt in half cage for this car we are powder coating bronze.
Might not look it but this car once ran an 9.77 on road tyres at santa pod in 2017 and got banned from the track.
