What follows shows what happens when driving in a built up area at speed if you do not reduce that speed significantly.

Remember it is a limit not a target, if you’re passing a hazard, you should aim to be at least a car doors length away. If you can’t then you need to reduce your speed significantly.

To many people drive with a “I can get through there” mentality, when they should be driving with a “can I get through there safely”.

What a week! Sadly had 2 people fail their test this week - one for observations doing a manoeuvre (just looked in the one mirror throughout the manoeuvre). And the other decided to ignore the white stop lines at a red light and roll through them.

However we had finished on a high Olly has passed first time with just one driver fault. Well done Olly and safe drives for the future. Olly is also being sensible and booking a motorway lesson in with me.
