Sunday 13th September🏁

🏆Any members who have perpetual trophies please bring them to the meeting and hand back to Sharon Barker🏆

❗️Gates open Saturday 3pm and closes Saturday 8pm (please don’t arrive before 3pm)

⛺️Overnight Camping Saturday Free

🔓Gates to re open Sunday 8am

🚫No fresh water on site

⛔️No open fires or disposable BBQs! Any other forms of BBQs must be off the ground!⛔️

🚙Sunday Scrutineering at 8:30am and closes at 10, signing on to close at 10:15

📋Drivers briefing at 10:40

🏁Sunday ready for racing to start at 11am

❌ No Autograss traffic through Binton village at anytime
❌Strictly no race cars to be started before 8:30 under any circumstances

📣Please be aware there is no tannoy system in the unloading bay/trailer park. If you wish to park your race car and trailer together up there it is your responsibility to ensure you come down to race on time📣

Gate prices:
£20 including signing on fee for adult drivers
£15 including signing on fee for juniors (10-16 years)

What a weekend Radford Autograss Club hosted and massive congratulations to them as a club for hosting the meeting!
Well done to all our members who competed at the nationals this weekend, you have done the club proud!!!
We do have to give a special mention to Jill Grasby in E1🌟🌟
Ladies F600 National Champion and Champion of Champions winner🥇
Jill also picked up 4th place in Class 10👏🏼👏🏼
As a club we are so proud to have two National Champions this year and both of them have won the Champion of Champions race!! 4th ever club to achieve this that’s something for the history books🏁

🚨🏁 IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION – ROAD CLOSURES 🏁🚨

If you’re travelling to the Ladies & Juniors National Championships 2026 this week, please take a few minutes to CHECK YOUR ROUTE BEFORE YOU SET OFF! 🚗💨

There are a number of road closures and overnight works in the surrounding area and on some of the main routes into Radford. Some of these could cause delays depending on where you’re travelling from. 👇

🔴 CHURCH HILL (U34314), INKBERROW
📅 From 1st September – expected for 5 days
⛔ Full closure between Knighton Lane & High Street

⚠️ THIS ONE IS VERY LOCAL TO THE EVENT!
It may affect anyone approaching Radford through Inkberrow, so please check your route carefully.

🔴 PEOPLETON LANE (C2115), UPTON SNODSBURY
📅 From 1st September – expected for 3 days
⛔ Closed from its junction with the A422 Worcester Road for approximately 240 metres.

✅ The A422 itself remains OPEN.

This may affect those approaching from the Worcester / Upton Snodsbury direction.

🔴 A449 – LEDBURY TO MALVERN
⛔ REMAINS FULLY CLOSED due to a landslide.

This is particularly important for anyone travelling from Hereford, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Mid/South Wales and potentially parts of the South West.

➡️ Please follow the official signed diversion.

🔴 A46 – BECKFORD TO ASHTON UNDER HILL
📅 1st & 2nd September
⏰ 9pm – 6am
⛔ Full overnight closure in both directions.

Likely to affect those travelling from Cheltenham, Gloucester and parts of the South West.

➡️ Diversion: B4077 → B4632 → Broadway → A44 → A46

🔴 A44 – PINVIN / PERSHORE
📅 One overnight closure planned between 3rd–11th September
⏰ Approximately 9pm – 6am

⚠️ The exact night should be checked before travelling.

May affect those approaching from Worcester, Pershore, Malvern/Herefordshire and the West.

🔴 M42 / M6 – WATER ORTON / BIRMINGHAM
📅 Friday 4th September
⏰ Approximately 9pm – 6am
⛔ Closure affecting the M42 Southbound J8 → M6 Northbound J4a link

May affect those travelling from the North, North West or around Birmingham.

🔴 M5 – JUNCTIONS 7–9
🚧 Ongoing overnight safety barrier works and lane closures
⏰ Approximately 8pm – 6am on weekdays

May affect anyone travelling via the M5 from the South West, Gloucestershire, Bristol, South Wales or towards Worcester.

⚠️🏁 PLEASE PLAN AHEAD! 🏁⚠️

With hundreds of competitors and spectators making their way to Radford, we strongly recommend:

📍 Check your route BEFORE setting off
⏰ Allow plenty of extra travelling time
🚧 Follow official signed diversions
🚛 If towing a race car, caravan or travelling in a large vehicle, PLEASE DO NOT follow sat-nav shortcuts down unsuitable country lanes!

The last thing we want is anyone getting caught out by a closure on their way to Nationals!

🚨Please see below notice from NASA:

WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

Whilst these dry conditions remain in place:
• All camping and racing units must carry suitable fire safety equipment – either a fire extinguisher, fire safety stick or fire blanket.
• No open or enclosed/closed fires are permitted, including fire pits, chimineas or similar.
• Disposable BBQs and coal/charcoal BBQs are not permitted.

These are mandatory, short-term fire safety requirements and apply to everyone attending our venues.

Anyone found to be in breach of these requirements may be required to leave the venue. We ask everyone to respect and comply with these measures. They have been introduced for the safety of competitors, officials, spectators, landowners and the wider community.

The exceptionally dry ground means that even a small fire could spread extremely quickly, potentially putting people, vehicles, equipment, crops and surrounding land at serious risk.

These measures will remain in place while the current dry conditions persist.

The situation will be reviewed weekly, taking into consideration the latest weather and ground conditions, and these requirements will be revised or withdrawn when appropriate.

Please ensure this bulletin is shared with all clubs, leagues, competitors, officials and members, as well as anyone attending an Autograss event.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation and for helping us keep Autograss events safe.
