Super proud Parent day for Lisa and I today!
Our son Dan is making his professional acting debut as young Clyde in Bonnie & Clyde the musical at the Old Joint Stock in Birmingham!

Well done for everything you have done Dan, you have worked so hard to get here, and the whole family is amazed by your talent!

Lickhill Colts Reds U13's are based in Stourport-on-Severn and are looking to add a couple of players as we head into the new season of 11 aside football. Ideally strickers but all positions considered. The team has a great set of players with amazing parents and run by a dedicated coaching set up who believes strongly in team ethics and the players enjoying their football experience. Most of the players have been with the team since mini kickers and as a.team they lifted the Stourport League cup in 2024. We play at a medium level and ideally looking for players with experience. Please get in touch if interested in joining a family friendly team with a competitive edge. We train on a Wednesday evening at DY10 4PW, 8 till 9 and supply Home/Away and Training kits.

Today I had a very emotional day as we said our final goodbyes to Silver Seal Garage.

I started working there as a apprentice in 1992 and worked there for the best part of 25 years where I was lucky enough to meet and work with some incredible people and characters!

Its another loss to the town as a business that was started in 1977 ends and was very humbling today as Andy and I stood in the empty building and reminisced the history of Silver Seal and the happy memories we have had there.

I would personally like to thank Andy for giving me my first job opportunity back then and I wish him all the best as he enters his retirement and next phase of his life.

The site of Silver Seal will no longer be a car repair garage as it has new owners and Andy has asked us to take the business phone number so we can carry on the good name of Silver Seal Garage.

All the best for the future Andy Flello and thankyou Silver Silver for the memories, you will be missed.

Yesterday we received the very sad news of the passing of Phil Ireson.

I first met Phil when i joined the motor trade as a 16 year old apprentice where he would always have time to help and offer advice.

When he retired from his business P & A Motors and joined us for a couple of years that help and guidance continued and i will always be indebted for his calmness and experience in our early years of trading.

Over the many years of knowing Phil we shared lots of warm and funny moments and he will be missed by everyone that new him. He was a true gentleman and genuine family man and our thoughts are with Shirley and his family at this very difficult time.

RIP Phil, you will be truly missed Mr Ireson 😢

🇨🇵 🇨🇵 🇨🇵 Oh là là ! 🇨🇵 🇨🇵 🇨🇵

Another French day at BSL Auto Repairs today in the sunshine!

First vehicle required a vehicle software update and calibration.

Second had a suspension fault.

Third was in for an annual service.

And the final vehicle was in for a tricky electrical fault that had left the main dealer technicians scratching their heads!

Being Peugeot and Citroen specialists the team at BSL tackled all the faults with confidence! using the same diagnostic machine as the main dealers, having cutting edge technology and information available to us and with over 30 years experience on French cars I am pleased to say all vehicles repaired and happy customers!

Has been a very busy day again and a big thankyou to the team for all their hard work and getting through all the repairs!!
