This car failed the MOT test for brake imbalance and rear disks pitted or scored

During the tear down, the brake pad lining and mounting plate were separated.

With a caliper clean grease and rewind , new discs and pads, and greased slider pins, it's now retested and ready for the road

Bad lambda sensor readings where putting the engine management light on in this Peugeot.
After some investigation, we found the pressing on the catalytic converter had cracked allowing the exhaust to draw air this Meant the ECU was thinking the engine was running really lean when infact it was running correctly.
We removed the exhaust to replace it and found that it had been welded in the past
Before we took over repair work for its current owner of the car.

After replacing all readings via our computer, it went back to normal and Engine Management Light went out.

Low oil is never a good thing, this one came in to us after breaking down in its way back from Europe. The filter housing cracked sprang a leak meaning it had to be replaced

While it was in the workshop as well as replacing the filter housing ,we replaced the oil cooler, oil and filter. As the engine does quite a few miles the oil needed to be removed to do the initial repair.
