We rent out cars and vans across the Outer Hebrides and Highlands, and we need someone to help our customers have the best experience.

About Our Company

Since 2009, Car Hire Hebrides has been offering great vehicles for rent. We believe in paying fair wages and treating our staff well.

This is a full time position – 40 Hours per week, £28,000 per annum (~£13.46/hr) + commission.

Rota and hours worked will be discussed at the interview stage.

Your Job
As an Operations team member, you will:
- Act as a leader across Account Development, Guest Relations and Fleet functions.
- Work as a functional member of each core domain, contributing to daily service delivery alongside Crew and Leads.
- Ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly and deliver hands-on support within Account Development, Guest and Fleet activities according to need and priority.
- Maintain and grow our expanding account base.
- Support fulfilment of customer bookings, guest interactions and vehicle readiness.

Your Job
As a Fleet Services & Guest Relations team member, you will:
- Deliver high quality vehicle cleaning, preparation and delivery.
- Deliver and collect our vehicles in a safely and timely manner across the different Islands to meet our customer needs.
- Assist customers with their queries about vehicles, such as features, operation, and safety to ensure they have great experiences.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for customers, providing personalised and high-quality customer service.
- Stay up to date with our services, products, tools, and systems to identify ways to bring value to the team.
- Meet set deadlines and targets, adjusting, learning, and communicating as roadblocks are encountered or new information becomes available.
- Proactively volunteer to own issues on behalf of the team, acting with limited manager oversight, and course-correcting when new information is presented.
