Up 2 Speed Up2Speed Driving School is a company local to Stone in Staffordshire set up by Tom Carnes providing friendly and professional instruction.

Our Driving Instructors are DVSA Approved Professionals with an enthusiasm for teaching people to drive of all ages and abilities. We pride ourselves on the quality of our instruction and the thought put in to preparing each and every driving lesson for those of you who we are lucky enough to encounter. Our driving instructors are patient, friendly, punctual, and always tailor bespoke driving lessons to suit ‘your’ needs.

✅️🚗 YAAASSSSS ANOTHER FIRST TIME PASS! Grace Matthews you were superb today up in Stafford. There's no hiding how nervous you felt... but look at what you achieved! No more of the self doubt required in life, not only have you smashed Uni with a first, you've gone and done it today with your driving too. Facts are facts, you're actually a MASSIVE overachiever and I am so proud of you. Thank you for your perseverance, time, effort, and bravery to do brilliant things for yourself. Best of luck for your future, remember who you are and how fantastic you can be. It's been such a pleasure. 4 minors and a laugh with the examiner to end things, there really was nothing to fear. You deserved it!

✅️🚗 ANOTHER FIRST TIME PASS! A huge congratulations Molly Fletcher on a fantastic drive with only 3 minors. It's only taken 2 MONTHS! You've done so many miles in your own car and displayed such a fantastic work ethic. A big well done to your parents for all the extra effort. I am definitely going to miss your company on the road. Your car is so lovely you've tempted me down the electric route! Thank you for giving ME a driving lesson on the way home in it. It was really fun. Thank you for being a star student. ✅️ ANOTHER TEST PASSED!! YASSSSS!! Huge congratulations goes to the brilliant Josh Booth. Where to start?! What a young gentleman, I have found getting to know you a pleasure and I am so pleased you passed in Newcastle this morning with only 3 minors with what your examiner called "A pretty flawless drive". Josh didn't have the privilege of any private practice, however, what he did have was lots of moral love and support at home and a great attitude he's been raised with. It's rare to watch a pupil take so much accountability for their actions, and hit such consistency in lesson attendance. The result is down to his hard work, and I love being witness to a succesful test rather than responsible for it. This was all you Josh. Always remember how your effort brought you success. Thank you for the company on the road, and I wish you all the best for University. You'll smash it bud.

I present you the perfect driver 😁. Phoebe Curtis you were amazing with your effort level. I know you wouldn't mind me mentioning you were nervous on the run up, but you did it!!! Especially as your sis had passed with me just earlier this week with 4 minors! The sibling rivalry came to the surface and I'm so proud of the pair of you. You've both been a pleasure to teach and I'll miss you as company on the road. I hope you've enjoyed the gig tonight, see you on the road!

Only 4 minors as well. I'm going to miss having you in the car, it's been such fun and a complete pleasure. Reece Nixon you did a great job up in Stafford yesterday afternoon in the awful windy weather. After just a handful of refresher lessons on your return from Uni for test you managed to really zone in and concentrate for a short notice date that could have overwhelmed most. Really pleased for you, it's been a pleasure teaching both you and your sister. I wish you both the best for the remainder of your Uni courses and can't wait to see you driving solo when you're home again. Take care mate, proud of you 🙌🏻

We have laughed an awful lot throughout your process of learning. You've been fab company and an exemplary pupil. ✅️ YET ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL TEST!!! Toby Flower well done mate. Only 2 minors. A brilliant drive around Stafford today along probably the trickiest rural route going and you handled it with ease.
Really proud of your effort level throughout learning. A huuuuuge thank you to your Mum and Dad for all the extra practice. I hope Vale do you proud 👏🏻⚽️.
