A big congratulations to Oliver Hackney who passed his driving test today at Cobridge Driving Teat Centre, with only 2 minor faults!🥳🚘

Oliver, was a fantastic achievement! It’s been a pleasure to see you grow in confidence and become a safe driver.
A big thank you to your parents for all of the practice outside of your driving lessons too. It’s been a team effort. Enjoy your freedom!🚗😊

Just a polite reminder that I only take students who I have taught myself to driving test in my tuition vehicle.

I do not take last minute enquiries. My car is not for hire. If you need to hire a dual controlled vehicle to take your test, you can find and hire one from Arnold Clark. If you are not ready for your test, you can change or cancel it.

Only once my students have reached a safe, test-ready standard, they get the opportunity to take their driving test in my car. This is a privilege that is earned, not bought.

The question I get asked the most is: “Am I ready to take my driving test?”. Here are the things I look for in every student who has lessons with myself.

I will not agree to take a student to a driving test if they are not doing all of the listed points, for their own safety and for everyone else’s.

Two weeks ago I passed my IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver Exam, with a F1RST. A personal achievement that is already enhancing the way I deliver driving lessons, making each student I teach even safer on the roads.🚘

IAM RoadSmart offer local free taster sessions to full license holders. The course is a great way to enhance your driving skills. I would recommend this to everyone.
