Ford dealers replace the ‘well known’ 1.0L eco boost wet belt with a timing chain.. problems gone? Not exactly!
The new timing chain design also has an oil pump belt located behind the chain. These are pictures of the oil pump belt from a customers vehicle that we have replaced today, unfortunately when replacing the oil pump belt, the timing chain MUST be replaced at the same time due to the timing of the vehicle, which can be costly💰
This belt should have teeth on and should have no visible cracks🙈
