No job too big….. 🚐

We have had a fun 2 days doing an engine swap on this Vivaro. Diagnosed it last year with no compression and the customer finally got round to booking it in. So old engine out, things swapped over and an engine back in and we have a running van! 👌

Found a coolant leak which could be a contributing factor as to what killed the last engine so will be back to get that sorted so it can go for an MOT and be back on the road 🛣️

Oh hello! 👀

We were at this beauty this week looking over some issues it was having, checking out some oil leaks and getting together a list of what needs doing and importing to get it back to tip top shape 👌

Remember we don’t just fix cars when they NEED it, we can do check overs to catch things early. No job is too small 🔧

Been awhile since we did a battery 🪫

Customer could be jumped and drive, but soon as the car sat it wouldn’t start. Went and checked the battery health and sure enough, needed changing. All changed and customer is back on their way but not before booking us back in for more work on their other vehicles including services and MOT 🔧

Get ahead of winter and have your battery health checked and changed before the cold kills it off that last few % and you wake up to an icy response from your car 🚗

MOT failure requires welding 🔥

Customers car failed its MOT and required some welding. Customers mechanic friend was going to get it all ready for us and drop the sub frame so when we got off holiday we can go, weld it and then it was getting sent off to have some protection work done. Customers friend said sub frame only has 2 bolts left and ready to come off….2 hours later, it was off 🙄

Brake lines along with other things were still attached and those 2 bolts that needed to come out were seized and rounded off. But we got it down! Unfortunately it meant we didn’t have time to do the welding but we will be back next week to finish it 🔧

The old oil filter was heavily contaminated, and the difference between the old and new air filter! 😳

Regular servicing isn’t just about changing the oil. It gives us a chance to replace filters, check the condition of your vehicle and spot potential problems before they turn into bigger, more expensive repairs. You’ll be surprised how many people think they have had full services done until they check and see some filters aren’t included 🚗

13 days and 2100 miles later, we are home! 🏠

We have done coasters, beautiful windy roads, laps of the Nurburgring and chilled at centre parks. We may need a holiday to get over this holiday 😂

We may not be straight back out to physically fixing cars today, but we are back at it with pricing up, booking in the last few jobs that came through, parts ordering for next week and then getting the van sorted! 🔧

Please note that we are now taking bookings for September onwards. Thank you again for all those that have had patience while we have been away and booked in with us, filling up August 📔

How’s your week going? 🚗

We know your vehicles aren’t behaving, our inbox hasn’t stopped and have bookings now every day we are open for over 2 weeks when we get back 😂

We have so far
- covered over 1000 miles
- crossed 4 countries
- has our 6 year old put us to shame on a 5G world first rollercoaster
- drive on lots of lovely windy forest roads and someone is thoroughly enjoying the autobahns 🙄

We apologise to anyone who’s having to wait alittle longer than normal for replies. Not just that we are on holiday but where we currently are it has pretty much 0 signal and we are relying on the wifi when back at accommodation 🙃

Can anyone guess where we have been and where we may be heading next? 🤔
