DELTA are proud to support Lough Neagh Rescue with two state of the art 9m Open Lifeboat RIBs at the forefront of rescue asset technology and performance. The craft were officially launched by Minister Poots at the launch ceremony at Kinnego lifeboat station this past weekend.

The lifeboats provide LNR with the capability of continuing to save lives on the water, utilising the various navigational and search aids installed which complement the crafts focus on rescue characteristics and heavy weather performance, tailored by Delta Power Group to meet the unique requirements faced by rescuers on the Lough and the Coastline.

Powered by twin 300Hp Mercury Verado outboard engines, probided by EP Barrus Special Products Division, the lifeboats achieve very high speed and acceleration in the aid of getting to casualties and those in trouble as fast as possible.

DELTA specialise in tailoring their craft to meet unique operator requirements. After a great deal of time researching and fine-tuning the craft design, with the cooperation of the operator, to best suit the challenges faced on the water, the lifeboats are now in active service and will be saving lives as intended over the next 30+ years.

The UK Border Force’s DELTA 19m RIB, the Coastal Patrol Vessels have been busy operating in the English Channel saving lives 🦺

Border Force intercepts 409 people, including young children, on board 27 boats.
