***** Semi Skilled Mechanic/ Tyre Fitter Required *****

We are a very busy workshop and in need of a Semi Skilled Mechanic/Tyre Fitter.

Duties will be carrying out full car services to a high standard and helping with tyre fitting when needed. Must be reliable and work well independently and as part of a team.

Monday to Friday 7.30-17.00 and every other Saturday morning 7.30-12.00.

We are looking for a Tyre Fitter to start at our busy workshop in Staplehurst.
You must have experience in changing / repairing tyres and ideally knowledge of wheel alignment. You will need to work hard as part of a team and on your own initiative. Must be hard working, enthusiastic, reliable, presentable and punctual.
Main duties include:
Repairing, replacing and fitting vehicle tyres
Performing seasonal tyre changeovers
Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)
Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
Inflating vehicle tyres
Helping customers to choose products that meet their requirements
Preparing quotes and invoices
Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order.
Working week consists of Monday to Friday 07.30 - 17:00 and every other Saturday Morning 07.30 - 12:00
Salary dependant on experience.

FULLY SKILLED MOTOR MECHANIC REQUIRED

We are looking for a skilled Motor Mechanic
Work to include all general mechanical work and servicing on all makes of cars including cam belts and clutches. Must be able to work well as part of a team and individually on your own Initiative.
MOT Tester preferred but not essential.
NVQ level 3 or equivalent necessary.
Full UK Driving License (required)
History of working in a similar role with at least 5-year experience.
Hours are Mon-Fri 7.30-5pm
Sat 8-12 with every other Sat off.
Salary depending on experience

We are looking for a Semi Skilled motor mechanic at our busy workshop in Staplehurst.

You must have 2 years experience in the motor trade with ideally a minimum NVQ Level 2 Automotive Maintenance and Repair or equivalent and be able to work hard as part of a team and on your own initiative. Must be hard working, enthusiastic, reliable, presentable and punctual.

Job Description -

Carry out various maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
Diagnose vehicle problem to ascertain faults and best course of action
Advise customers on what repairs are needed
Work well as part of a team
Work on a variety of vehicles throughout the day.
Check stock levels and order required parts.
update vehicle service records.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Full Clean UK Driving License(required)
