🌿🍂 ANOTHER SUNDAY, ANOTHER LOVELY SPOT! ❤️
A bit of fresh air and some cracking scenery this morning. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday! 😁
After a busy week at D & R Tyres, it's nice to get out for a wander and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet.
We're lucky really, having places like this so close to home. Sometimes you forget what's right on your doorstep. 🌳🍁
No tyres, no phones ringing, just enjoying the scenery for a change! 😂
Back to the usual madness at the garage tomorrow. 🛞🔧
Anyone recognise where I am this week? 👀
Hope you're all having a good Sunday, whatever you're up to! ❤️

🐾❤️ SNEAKED OFF EARLY THIS FRIDAY! 😂
Managed to get away from D & R Tyres a bit earlier than usual today to spend some time with my two little best mates, Lottie and Franco. 🥰🐶
The lads are still at the garage cracking on with the work, so it's business as usual. Cheers lads! 👍🛞
It's not often I get away early, so I'm making the most of it!
😂 And just look at these two… Franco and Lottie working out who's going to cause the most chaos! 🤣🐾
I've got a feeling these two are going to be like Bonnie and Clyde… and I'll be the one getting the blame! 😂❤️
Nice to forget about tyres, phones ringing and the usual garage madness for a couple of hours.
Wouldn't swap this for anything. ❤️
Hope everyone has a cracking Friday evening, whatever you're up to! 🍻

🚨🛞 RIGHT THEN, STANLEY… TIME FOR A LITTLE HONESTY! 😂👇

WHEN DID YOU LAST CHECK YOUR TYRES? 👀

And no… giving them a quick glance as you walk past the car doesn't count! 🤣

🍂 The temperatures are dropping.
🌧️ The roads are getting wetter.
🥶 Those frosty mornings aren't far away.

And your tyres are doing all the hard work keeping you safely on the road!

So let's see who's being honest today…

🟢 A – Checked them this week. I'm a tyre safety superstar! 😇

🟠 B – A few months ago… probably! 🤔

🔴 C – Does the MOT count? 😂

👇 DROP YOUR A, B OR C IN THE COMMENTS!

Don't worry, we won't judge… too much! 🤣

🧡 At D & R Tyres in Stanley, we offer FREE tyre safety checks, so there's no excuse not to know how your tyres are looking.

💗 AND DON'T FORGET!

Throughout October, we're donating £1 from EVERY tyre we supply and fit to WCDS (Women's Cancer Detection Society).

So if you do need new tyres, you'll be helping a fantastic local charity at the same time. 💕

🥶🛞 THE TEMPERATURE'S DROPPING… ARE YOUR TYRES & WIPERS READY? 🍂❄️

October is here, the mornings are getting colder, the roads are getting wetter, and it won't be long before we're scraping frost off the windscreens! 🥶😂

But here's something worth remembering…

🚨 GOOD TYRES HELP YOU STOP — GOOD WIPERS HELP YOU SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING! 🚨

As temperatures drop, both become more important than ever!

🍂 Wet leaves can make roads slippery.

🌧️ Worn tyres struggle to clear water, increasing the risk of aquaplaning.

🥶 Cold weather can cause tyre pressures to drop.

🛞 Low tread depth means reduced grip and longer stopping distances in the wet.

🚗 Worn wiper blades can leave streaks, smear your windscreen and seriously reduce visibility on dark, wet mornings.

❄️ And those frosty mornings won't do tired old wiper blades any favours!

⚠️ DID YOU KNOW?

The legal minimum tyre tread depth is 1.6mm, but at D & R Tyres we recommend considering replacement at around 3mm, especially heading into the colder, wetter months.

🧡 HERE'S WHERE D & R TYRES CAN HELP!

✅ FREE tyre safety checks

✅ Tyre pressure and tread depth checks

✅ Summer, winter and all-season tyres

✅ Wiper blade checks and replacements

✅ Honest, straightforward advice — if your tyres are fine, we'll tell you!

🔥 DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST FROST OR HEAVY DOWNPOUR TO FIND OUT YOU'RE NOT READY! 🔥

👇👇 NOW HERE'S THE IMPORTANT BIT! 👇👇

🛞💗 FRIDAY'S HERE… AND THE TYRES KEEP ROLLING IN FOR A GREAT CAUSE! 💗🛞

Another busy week at D & R Tyres and another few pounds added to our October charity total! 💪

From everyday family cars to SUVs, from Davanti to Michelin, we've been keeping our customers safely on the road while supporting a fantastic local charity. 🚗

💗 AND HERE'S THE BEST BIT…

For EVERY tyre we supply and fit throughout October, we're donating £1 to WCDS (Women's Cancer Detection Society)!

That's right… every tyre fitted means another £1 going towards a great local charity that does important work supporting early cancer detection. 💕

🛞 1 tyre = £1 donated
🛞 2 tyres = £2 donated
🛞 4 tyres = £4 donated

It all adds up, and thanks to our brilliant customers, that total keeps growing! 🙌

❤️ OCTOBER ISN'T JUST BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH — IT'S ALSO TYRE SAFETY MONTH!

Two important reminders in one month:

💗 Look after yourself — early detection matters.

🛞 Look after your tyres — your safety matters too.

👏 A massive THANK YOU to everyone who's supported us so far. Every tyre really does make a difference!
