After a long quiet period we are nearly ready for the Staffordshire Motorsport show this weekend. We have many changes to the car under the skin and we now have a MSUK stage rally passport! Yep that means we will hopefully be on a stage rally this year! No longer confined to demonstration events!

We have certainly worked on rally cars in worse places! The Motorist were brave enough to allow us to conduct our post season checks and servicing in there foyer! What a place to work on a rally car, think this is a first.

The weekend at Lombard Rally Festival Revesby wasn’t without drama. Saturday we suffered an intermittent misfire which was tracked down to a faulty injector and fixed with another set we found locally but meant we could only run the low map at 340bhp.

Sunday with the car raised to gravel height but still on tarmac tyres made for interesting conditions. This became apparent in a spin on the lunchtime run. Luckily managed to hold it enough to miss anything too solid and come away without damage.

Group Audi Quattro

After not much action this year We will be out in the Quattro at Lombard Rally Festival Revesby along side Lombard Rally Festival Revesby/Lincolnshire Wolds Car and Bike Show on the 14th and 15th September for some demo runs.

Looking forward to the gravel forestry section and the new venue. If you’re in the area be sure to give us a wave.

Unfortunately we were suffering all day with a misfire which severely limited our performance. But nether the less was a great outing as always and perfect for running the new dog box in, which is an absolute dream to use.
