New customer with a 2012 Nissan juke is complaining that it is undriveable over 30mph, the car wanders all over the road, its been to two other garages who have not been able to find a fault, that worries me slightly, will I be able to find anything, I'll get it on the ramp first and see if I can see anything obvious, after looking for half an hour of jacking the car up and checking for faults in the usual way, che king that all suspension bolts are tight, nothing. Time to take it for a drive, and yes the car is undriveable, dangerous, accelerate over 30 mph the car veers to the right, come off the accelerator the car veers to the left, there's definitely something wrong, back on the ramp, I noticed the front tyres aren't too good and the back ones are fairly new, surely it can't be down to the tyres, I'll swap front to back and back to front, after removing the nearside front wheel i spot it, the front bush in the fairly recent new part had failed, the opposite bush was also starting to fail, two new suspension arms and the car drives as it should again.
