Meet Olivia Mackay, a 20-year-old apprentice who refused to let setbacks define her path. After leaving school without GCSEs, she returned to college, gained qualifications and kept working towards her goal of building a career in the automotive industry.

Following redundancy, support from the Youth Trailblazer scheme and Wolves at Work helped Olivia secure a new opportunity with CC Autocentres. Today, she is gaining hands-on experience with customers and day-to-day workshop operations while learning from experienced technicians.

About the Role

The successful candidate will fit, repair and replace commercial vehicle tyres, provide roadside assistance when required, and deliver excellent customer service to our fleet and commercial clients.

Requirements

* Experience fitting commercial tyres preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Flexible approach to work, including occasional roadside call-outs

About the Role

As an MOT Tester, you’ll be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards, identifying vehicle defects, and supporting our workshop with servicing and repairs when required.

Requirements

• Valid MOT Tester qualification (preferably class 4/5 and 7 (Class 4 essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good customer service skills
• Previous garage or workshop experience preferred
