Optimal Performance with GFB’s Custom Weld-On DV and BOV’s

GFB has a small range of their Diverter and Blow Off Valves that are designed for custom weld-on applications. These products are almost identical to their usual counterparts, but with some alterations to allow for easy welding onto stainless or aluminium piping.

GFB utilises their V-band mounting system for these products, but you will need to purchase the appropriate weld-on fl**ge and outlet fitting to suit your specific application. This saves you paying more for extra adaptors that you don’t end up using.

T9019 - Custom Weld-on Respons TMS
GFB’s custom weld-on Response TMS (T9019) may look like just another dual-port blow-off valve, but its actually much more than that. It features GFB’s venting bias adjustment system which allows you to precisely control how much air vents from each of the two outlets.

This system allows you to adjust how loud the blow off sound is, without causing stalling, backfiring or any other BOV-related issues, even on a car with a sensitive airflow meter (MAF). Adjustable from full recirculation with silent factory operation to maximum noise by venting to atmosphere, or set it ANYWHERE in between to your own personal preference.

This product isn’t just a noise-maker, it also offers better throttle response, faster boost recovery on gearshift and unlimited boost-holding* for maximum performance.

T9119 - Custom Weld-on Mach 2 Recirculation Valve
GFB’s custom weld-on Mach 2 TMS (T9119) is perfect for those who want simple boost performance WITHOUT the noise. The Mach 2 is configured as a 100% recirculating valve as a direct factory replacement, but with the use of GFB’s TMS technology returns the engine to peak boost up to 30% faster than a factory diverter valve when shifting gears.

Factory bypass valves typically have two main shortcomings- they are often designed to blow open above a certain pressure to protect the engine, and that they are not optimised for throttle response. The Mach 2 range solves both issues. With its pressure-balanced design, it can effectively hold almost unlimited boost and the TMS technology ensure maximum throttle response.

Sometimes constant pressure is a good thing...
GFB’s fuel pressure regulators help maintain constant fuel pressure to avoid your modified vehicle running lean under load.

These regulators are built with the same precision, machining quality, and reliability that is the foundation of all GFB products. The compact size of the GFB FX regulators conceals a large flow capacity, and the multiple ports allow for a variety of fuel system setups including multiple rails and gauge/pressure sensor monitoring.

Internally, you’ll find unique features and small touches that make the difference between a good product and a great one. For example, they use a double-layer, double-reinforced diaphragm with a burst strength exceeding 1000psi (68BAR)!

Unlike others that use a metal-to-metal valve seat, the FX regulators feature a replaceable soft Teflon valve seat that helps retain fuel pressure longer after the car is shut down for easier re-starting. An O-ring sealed spring hat also ensures no boost/vacuum leakage through the spring adjusting screw.

8050- GFB’s FX-S Street version fuel pressure regulator is capable of flowing enough fuel for up to 800hp, up to 750 litres per hour at 25psi.

8051- GFB’s FX-S fuel pressure regulator is designed to be a direct mount replacement of the Bosch clip in regulators. This pressure regulator allows you to run a larger upgraded fuel pump on the standard Bosch fuel rail without adaptors or replacing the rail.  8051 provides more than double the flow when compared to the standard Bosch fuel pressure regulator, and can be adjusted from 1.4 bar-5 bar in pressure.

8060- GFB’s 8060 FX-R race version fuel pressure regulator is capable of flowing enough fuel for up to 1500hp, up to 1300 litres per hour at 25psi.

8070- GFB’s 8070 FX-D Drag Version fuel pressure regulator is capable of flowing enough fuel for 1500hp and upwards at a massive 1800 litres per hour of fuel at 25psi.

Big Flow, Small Size: GFB's EX44 7002 External Wastegate

When it comes to external wastegates, some things you want big, others you want small – like big flow, small size, right?

GFB’s EX44 44mm (7002) V-band style external wastegate is part of a range of external wastegates manufactured by GFB that are among the most compact external wastegates in their class, being shorter in height than its closest rival but without sacrificing flow.

EX44 (7002) features a cast body made from 253MA chromium-nickel stainless steel, a CNC machined billet stainless valve, and all stainless steel weld-on fittings and hardware, whilst the diaphragm is nomex-reinforced silicone. All this adds up to a wastegate built to handle extreme conditions with reliability you can trust!

Not only this, but GFB’s 7002 is supplied with a large variety of boost springs to customise your boost from as low as 5psi up to 15psi. As standard it comes with 15psi springs installed (1 x 10psi outer and 1 x 5psi inner spring) but when combined with the supplied 7psi middle spring, base boost of up to 22psi* can be achieved.

(*Spring pressure rating is a guide only. Actual boost pressure achieved may be different depending on the turbo, exhaust manifold and engine combination.)

Accelerate Faster with GFB’s 2005 Lightweight Pulley

GFB’s 2005 is a lightweight pulley suitable for RWD versions of the SR20DET engine, found in the S13-S15 Nissan 200SX/Silvia and the 180SX. (This product does NOT suit non-turbo SR20 engines or transverse mounted SR20DET vehicles.)

The 2005 lightweight pulley is designed as a replacement for the original pulley and increases engine power and response by reducing the inertial and driven loads. This product not only provides a performance improvement, but it also benefits high-revving engines by under driving the water pump. This helps prevent cavitation and subsequent overheating when drifting or circuit driving.

This pulley requires shorter belts which are not supplied, as the required belts will differ between engines. Typically S13-14 models use a 4-rib belt on the power steering, whilst S15 models use a 3-rib belt. This pulley will accommodate either, but it is worth checking your engine before sourcing belts.

BOOST! Monitor your VW/Audi with easy to fit GFB Boost Taps

Most modern VAG Group engines have eliminated vacuum ports from the intake manifold, making it difficult to install boost gauges, boost controllers, aftermarket blow-off valves and other devices that require a signal from the intake manifold.

GFB’s 5801 and 5800 manifold boost taps provide a quick and tidy solution to this issue. These boost taps have applications for VAG Group vehicles; 5801 is applicable for 1.2 and 1.4L Turbo engines, and 5800 for 1.8 and 2.0L Turbo engines.

These products have been designed to be easily installed without tools and completely reversible, leaving no trace it was installed. This is achieved by simply clipping into an existing hose port on the intake manifold.

GFB products are designed with reliability and longevity in mind, meaning 5800 and 5801 are produced with quality and robust materials. Both products have a billet 6262-T6 aluminium body to prevent any corrosion related issues and supplied with forward facing brass hose barbs for better hose routing and to prevent oil pooling in the hose. They also both feature Viton O-rings which are impervious to oil.

The GFB 3008 G-Force III is a sophisticated stand-alone electronic boost controller that can be used on a wide variety of turbo engines that use a pressure actuated wastegate.

What sets the G-Force III boost controller apart from other products is that it does not just provide you with the ability to control boost but give you the option to monitor/display your engine air/fuel ratio in either Lambda or AFR by use of a wideband control (from the likes of Innovate, AEM etc) through the G-Force III’s Aux input. GFB’s 5703 and 5711

If your BOV vents to atmosphere for sound and you drive in dirty environments, these products are for you.

5703 functions exactly like GFB’s normal BOV trumpets but features a 38mm (1.5”) section onto which you can mount a suitable foam filter, such as 5711. It’s suitable for use on SXV, Mach 2, Hybrid, Respons, and Deceptor Pro II BOVs.

5711 is GFB’s new BOV foam filter, designed to be installed onto any 38mm/1.5” BOV outlet. Unlike the tiny 25mm breather filters available from other brands, 5711’s large filter area is specifically sized to ensure minimum restriction to the BOV operation. This can be paired with GFB’s 5703 trumpet or 5238 recirculating outlet.

When both of these products are used together they keep the dirt, sand, mud, and other muck out of your BOV without compromising performance and sound.

GFB’s T9401 VTA is a performance blow-off valve solution for VAG Group vehicles with an electronic factory diverter valve. It has a large range of applications for Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, SEAT and Skoda TFSI and TSI vehicles.

Choose Your Sound: With the removable extended trumpet, you can configure the T9401 to give you either a classic “whoosh”, or possibly the loudest, most unique whistle sound you’ve ever heard.

Customise Your Sound: The T9401 also features adjustable spring pre-load so you can fine tune when it blows off, and for how long. A softer pre-load allows the valve to blow off for longer and at lower engine loads. If you prefer to hear it only at higher engine loads you can use a firmer pre-load.

Low-Profile, Easy Installation: Using GFB’s integrated solenoid design stacked in an “over/under” configuration, the super-low profile allows clean and simple fitment (even if your aftermarket intake is using up all the space)

GFB 7305

7305 is a high-performance internal wastegate actuator developed specifically for Subaru WRX STi 1999-2021 models. It’s designed to bring on boost sooner and hold it for longer

With a larger diaphragm than the OEM actuator, the WGA has more “control authority” over the wastegate flap. This makes it harder for exhaust backpressure to blow the wastegate open during spool up and high RPM, increasing boost pressure and longevity.

This wastegate features a longer stroke, shorter height and more adjustment than any other on the market, with boost pressure configuration up to 24psi so you can get the most out of your engine.

Its supplied with 3 boost springs to allow for pressure customisation. The 5psi and 10psi springs are installed for a base pressure of 15psi, and the 7psi spring is included in the packaging for further tuning options.

Despite 7305 being a “bolt-on” product, it should always be paired with a new engine tune.
